Andy McKechnie

After leading an assembly helping us recognise the importance of growth mindset, Andy McKechnie led a dance workshop for the P4-7 classes. A great way to finish off a great first week!

Meet the teacher

With so many new faces, we thought it would be lovely to have an open evening for parents and teachers to meet.  This will be a chance for parents to pop in for a tea or coffee, have a wander round the school, and meet the teaching side of Team Cawdor.  I heard a rumour that there may be some cake . . .

We hope you will be able to join us on Thursday 24th August between 7.00 and 8.00pm.

Welcome Back!

Welcome back to the 2017-18 Session here at Team Cawdor. We hope everyone has had a good first day back, especially our new Primary 1s and Nursery children. We’ve been thinking, too, about last year’s P7s as they embark on their journey into Secondary School – hope it went well!

As always on the first day of a new school year, a large amount of paperwork went home with children today. Please could you return these to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible? It really does help keep things running smoothly if these are returned quickly.

The big ‘birthday breakfast’ will take place tomorrow morning – the cake has arrived and looks amazing! Hope to see as many of you there as possible. Don’t forget there’s also a ‘Meet the Teacher’ event next week.

Looking forward to another busy an action-packed session.

A note from Professor Whizz

A few children have expressed concern about the pets and plants they own in Maths Whizz and what will happen if they don’t have internet access over the summer.

Fear not – Professor Whizz has assured me he will keep an eye on everyone’s studies over the holidays and ensure that pets are fed and plants are watered.

Thanks you, Professor Whizz, you’ve put a lot of minds at rest!
