These events look like they are going to be great fun, so please do try to get involved.
A few children have expressed concern about the pets and plants they own in Maths Whizz and what will happen if they don’t have internet access over the summer.
Fear not – Professor Whizz has assured me he will keep an eye on everyone’s studies over the holidays and ensure that pets are fed and plants are watered.
Thanks you, Professor Whizz, you’ve put a lot of minds at rest!
The Library Van will make its final visit of the session tomorrow, so please do a quick round-up and check if you have any outstanding books. Tomorrow we will be returning books only, no new ones will be issued.
Thank you very much for all the support today. We had a lovely supply of home-baking on offer, and the children had a super lunchtime trying all the different stalls. There are prizes to be won at the skipping and trim trail challenges.
The fun will continue for lunchtimes of Wednesday and Thursday.
Remember your £1 for Hoodies for Hoodies dress down day on Friday. If you have any money left over on Friday, you may see some of the Primary 7s willing to get a soaking in the stocks too!
Thank you to Logan and Oliver from Primary 6 who did a sterling job busking outside the school at hometime today. There may be more musical treats over the next couple of days too.
Remember to bring in some spending money on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week as Primary 6/7 will be running some fun stalls at lunchtimes.
Dress down Friday has the theme Hoodies for Hoodies. Bring £1 and wear your favourite hoodie.
These fundraising break times are always well supported and it is a real pleasure seeing the children engaged in fun and challenging activities.
